Hebrews 13:5-6 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Psalm 107:2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
In the old covenant, all God's promises were "if" you. In the new covenant, all God's promises are Yes and Amen, "in" Jesus (II Cor 1:20). You can't do anything to earn it, you receive it through Jesus.
